How to Connect Paystack to Accept Online Payments
Paystack is the payment gateway AstaBill uses to let your customers pay by card, bank transfer, or mobile money.
AstaBill uses Paystack to process online payments from your customers. To enable the Pay Now button on your invoices, you link your bank account. Payments will settle directly to that account — you do not need your own Paystack login.
Steps:
- 1Go to Settings → Payments.
- 2Under Payment Account, click Set Up Payment Account.
- 3Select your bank from the dropdown list.
- 4Enter your bank account number.
- 5Click Save. AstaBill will verify the account and activate online payments.
Once set up, every invoice you send will include a Pay Now button. Your customers can pay by card, bank transfer, or mobile money — and the money settles to your linked bank account.
Note: Make sure the account number belongs to the business. Verification is instant for most Ghanaian banks. If it fails, double-check the account number and selected bank.
