How to Configure Automatic Late Fees

AstaBill can automatically add a late fee to invoices that go past their due date.

AstaBill can automatically add a late fee to overdue invoices. This feature is available on the Growth plan and above.

Steps:

  1. 1Go to Settings → Business.
  2. 2Scroll down to the Late Fees section.
  3. 3Toggle Enable automatic late fees on.
  4. 4Choose the fee type: Flat amount or Percentage (%).
  5. 5Enter the fee amount or rate.
  6. 6Set the Grace period — the number of days after the due date before the fee is applied. Set to 0 to apply on the same day the invoice becomes overdue.
  7. 7Click Save Changes.

Note: This feature requires the Growth plan. If you're on the Free plan, you'll be prompted to upgrade when you try to enable it.
